Overview

It's not often you have a customer ask you to build a solution to race a 60ft Trimaran Yatch, using an app on a Smartphone, whilst sitting in a helicopter 100m (300 ft) above the water, and then give control of the app to someone with no nautical experience or knowledge to race against a professional.

It's also not too surprising that many people thought it couldn't be done, especially when they added "Also, there will be a crew on the yatch while you are doing this to generate the hydraulic pressure you need". However, with our IOT and machine control experience this didn't sound as tough to us as it might to others

This type of project does however take automation, IOT, machine learning, and computer controlled hydralics and combine it with aerospace-level redudancy and safety to create a solution that we were not only very proud to be a part of, but was a World First achievement as well.
